Sharon Horowitz

Executive Vice President

Sharon creates and executes external and internal communications strategies that raise the profiles, protect the reputations and advance the objectives of a diverse array of organizations. Over the course of a 20-year career, she has worked with private equity-backed companies, prominent law and consulting firms, corporations and not-for-profit organizations, among others. Her industry experience spans healthcare, technology, professional services, education, consumer, and more.

With a razor-sharp focus on clients’ key objectives and a passion for effective storytelling, she develops communications campaigns to project thought leadership, raise the visibility of leaders, support organizational transformations, drive employee engagement, and reach and influence target stakeholder groups. Her approach is highly collaborative and emphasizes outstanding service.

Sharon has extensive experience crafting internal communications on a range of complex and sensitive topics, utilizing a clear, approachable and personable tone. In addition, she regularly develops high-level external communications—op-eds, white papers, social media posts, web site content, and more—capturing and elevating the voice of the client. She also brings a unique talent for pitching hard-to-place stories, regularly securing coverage in the world’s most influential print, online and broadcast outlets, as well as top industry-focused publications.

Prior to joining the firm, Sharon was a senior vice president at LAK Public Relations, which she joined in 2011. Before that, she was with an independent public relations firm focused on healthcare, higher education and philanthropy. A graduate of Smith College, Sharon has served as a social media strategist for the Smith College Club of New York City.
